Back to School

Ok, so the last day of winter break is normally a day i try to have fun and remiss on all the wonderful moments i had over break. But I'm kinda ready to go back this year, wierd.

Well whats been going on??

-Actor Sam Shepard was convicted of drunken driving, what a shocker... After his role in the notebook i would have assumed that was his normal persona.

-Latin Music sales have been going down the tubes, again, a real shocker becuase that is the largest genre on my itunes list...

-John Travolta's son dies illegedly of Kowasaki's syndrome, a disease of swelling blood vessels and anuerysms...some sources are saying that he originally had a mental problem like down syndrome, a disease that is not treated in Travolta's religion of scientology. Also he may have been unattented for over ten hours...Scandelous.

-Bashir won for Best Picture at the National Society of Film Critics Awards...yeah, I never heard of it either...

-GOOD NEWS! Lost is coming back! YAY!! BAD NEWS! Another SAG strike is in the works...

-I recently saw Doubt, a story of a priest who is suspicious of molesting a child from a school parish. It was actually very good, though the people i was with were looking for more about the actual molestation rather that the character development. But hey! I liked it.

-NEW DISCOVERY!!! the man who discovered Oxygen mayyyy have gave the world soda water!...anyone care?

-as you can tell, I need to read up on the whole Gaza strip, Israeli forces thing, because I'm just covering Entertainment news....

Happy New YEAR!!

I hate new years. Yes i get to start over, yes i have resolutions, yes I'm going to paly my Wii fit more but I hate spending it alone, or with my family. All trying to aviod this, blogging 25 minutes into the new year. This is horrible. I should be at a friends house celebrating, not sleeping, getting drunk, dancing...not planning my day for tomorrow. I should be having fun. Ya know what, I'm gonna go try. TTYL!

TIme to Catch Up!

WOW. what a...month. Ok well, the rolling end of the year always brings the crazy stories, idiodic poiticians and the best music out. So lets get started:

I have one word for politics: Blagojevich
And yes, i had to google "senator, sell, Obama, seat" to get the right spelling of his name. But first, let's get over the hair jokes. Because everyone (including his wife im sure) is a comedian when it comes to his hair. Here you go:

But anyway, i dont knwo exactly what kind of moron it takes to do this. I know actually, The kind that uses their own office phone to sell a seat in government. Yes, thats a very popular kind. ANYWAY lets move on to slightly more reidiculous topics...like reindeer.

The only reason i even clicked on that page on Google News was because its title was :Wildlife experts ponder gender of Santa's reindeer

I am very sad that wildlife experts have to resort to podering about the gender of magic reindeer. I mean i know their are real reindeer but seriously? Must we phsyco-analyze what gender they are? I dont really care that the reindeer are probably females because they are pregnant the rest of the year or the overly corny and ridiculous wording and embarassing quotes. Like Greg Finstan who, get this, who head the REINDEER RESEARCH PROGRAM at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Yes, reaindeer research center. But they got him saying "You don't hook up your pregnant females to a sled."
nuff said there greg. thanks.

But yes, I think it is unecessary to tell the public about the genders of reindeer. What will we do next year? Hear from the midget society that elves are commonly prostitutes?

OK, time for music. Anyone else here about Akon's retartedness? I did. Akon is a wonderful dude and I love his music. But this is fucking hilarious. If you guys live under a rock, Akon threw a kid off the stage at a recent concert. BUT WAIT! WAS THE KID OKAY!? OH yeah!! he was fine. He probably enjoyed the hot, shirtless ebony hip-hop star chucking into the crowd. BUT if you got the Times this morning, you saw Akon got SUED! by who? THE GIRL THE GUY HE THREW LANDED ON! She got a concussion. big deal. COME ON, i have gotten worse injuries at orchestra concerts. So yeah. Akon is one funny motherfucker. And i love him.

But i wil be adding to this. at the moment my mother is overtaking my room and complaining about how i have to clean it. Being a teenager sucks sometimes.

Hoboin'

So, I'm having a good day. Two nights ago was the High School's Sophmore's Harvest Queen dance. It was fun, but there weren't many good dresses out because normally schools dont have dances around now. Also alot of people didnt go, so it wasnt as fun.

Three hours past since i wrote that, ahha, anyway. I have regained my undieing love for The Killers. And i hope to see them in February at Madison Square Garden.

Oh, and also

I feel teenagers need to grow some in the politics department. Saying that Bush is leaving the building tonight is WRONG! Saying that the world will be different tomorrow is WRONG! Saying that the white house will be black tomorrow is WRONG!! ITS NOT! THE INAUGURATION IS IN FEBRUARY!! NOT TOMORROW! SO SHUT UP!

Yes, indeed

I'm ready for CHANGE!! Today i went to the polls with my mom to look around at the old people volenteers, empty Sanvordville band room, and here the 1970's voting booth's screech when the outdated blue plaid curtain closes. It was invigarating, one of those "american dream" things even though it was one of the ugliest places i've been in a while. I felt like the next four years were going to be fast so i can be in the same badly-decorated, cramped clicking voting booth! It may be my over-stimulated director mind but it was an experience. I'm excited to see the turn-out. I'm also excited to see what the effects of such a close call wil be. Its not a close call of white grey-haired man vs wite grey-haired man; its black young vs white old, which is controversial. I live in a conservative enviroment, though im a democrat by personal choise. Its probably one of those "im sick of my enviroment so i choose the other" things but it suits me. I know ALOT of people who will throw fits, riot and scream many violentcurse words at brian williams on the tv once obama is declared president. Its not going to be pretty. Its nice to see that the more radical groups are moving the conservative rascists out of view. I must say, I'm satsfied.
